Registration, Tuition, & Program Fees

1.

A $500 NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION FEE IS DUE WITH APPLICATION

The non-refundable registration fee is fully applied to tuition upon enrolment. This reserves your child’s seat in the classroom, covers the new students assessment portion of the enrolment process, and empowers the school office to establish and maintain your child’s OSR (Ontario Student Record file).

Secondly, all families are encouraged to complete a FAST (Financial Assistance for School Tuition) application. Your family may be eligible for a one-time 20% New Family Discount or 20% Clergy Family Discount, determined through the FAST Program.

*Because our new kindergarten tuition represents a 40% reduction from 2016-17 rates, no  further tuition discounts will be offered on the one-child JK/SK program fees.

To Further Benefit Our Families

A charitable donation receipt is issued once per calendar year (February) for the difference between tuition paid and the cost per student. The calculated amount eligible for a receipt depends on the number of students enrolled, and varies annually. The sample below is based on one full time child who has attended school for one full calendar year from January to December:

Your Tuition Rate
$10,500

Cost of Education
$4,663.68

Tax Credit*
$1,865.47

Actual Cost
$8,634.53

* Figures are based on 2016 inputs and assume the deductibility of charitable donations at a marginal tax rate of 40%.
Individual results may vary. Please check with your tax professional.

Fast Assistance for School Tuition

FAST (Financial Assistance for School Tuition) is an organization that assists private schools in establishing accurate financial profiles for their current and prospective families. Information is gathered online with dignity and confidentiality. School Boards are assisted in making informed tuition assistance decisions and our parents benefit from a number of financial incentives that can be accessed through FAST. For example, tuition rates exceeding $10,000 may qualify for a one-time 20% New Family Discount, a 20% Clergy Family Discount, or additional financial aid based on need. All Immanuel Christian School families are encouraged to complete  a FAST Financial Profile once each year at www.ismfast.com. A direct lint to the FAST site can be found on our website under the Future Students tab.

If you have questions while completing the application process, please call 1-877-326-FAST (3278), our twenty-four hour call center. While the application process for you is extremely user-friendly, a User Guide and help bubbles for each question are within the application itself.

*A nominal FAST application fee is subject to the current US exchange rate.
