It is a joy to see young students grow and mature in their Christian faith, in their relationships with each other and in their care for God's world. The enthusiasm of the young students and the deeper thought and understanding of the older ones makes it wonderful to work at Immanuel.

I am excited about the opportunity to teach kindergarten at Immanuel and witness the wonder and excitement that children of this age offer. I know that as they begin their formal education, they will learn a lot about God and His creation, but I also know that I will learn a lot from them. While they discover their uniqueness in Christ, I hope to help them strengthen their gifts and encourage them to face their individual challenges so that they can become the people God intends. I know that this year will be a blessing. |

I teach at Immanuel because I enjoy working with children. I appreciate their curiosity and honesty and their willingness to take chances in learning and discovering. To see students grow and develop in their faith and understanding is a blessing and I love to be a part of that process! |

It is with great joy and gratitude that I begin teaching at Immanuel Christian School. Since I have ceased to be a child, I have worked with children, my number one desire being to lead them in the way that is right. With much study and time in prayer, God's word, and council, I felt God's calling to become a teacher and to make a long story short, I am now here. If there is one thing I want you to know about me, it is that I am committed to serve God first and foremost and therefore to serve all of His Children. Teaching at Immanuel is not a job to me, but a calling, and in all that I do here I will be working as if for the Lord. I believe Immanuel Christian School is one part of the many in the body of Christ, being united with you in faith and obedience to Christ the head and in the calling to "train up a child in the way he should go so that when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). This year as I academically teach and assist your child, I will also be working to instruct in the truth of God's word in every area so that their lives may be transformed by the renewing of their minds (Romans 8:28). Praise be to God our Lord and Saviour who has plans for us above and beyond all we could ever ask for or imagine! |

Teaching grade 7/8 gives me the opportunity to witness the amazing development of children to adolescents! Immanuel provides many opportunities for physical, emotional, psychological and of course intellectual growth. I love teaching at a school where the whole student is developed. |

I feel truly blessed to be connected to a school that includes and embraces those with special needs. Whether it's understanding a disability, developing a deeper sense of compassion, or the pure joy of watching acceptance for those within the body of Christ, it's from that place that God continues to stretch me, use me, and allow me to serve His children with special needs. |

"Praise the Lord with the sound of..." in all that we do, it is hoped that God's name will be glorified. It is exciting to be returning to ICS after having been away for a number of years. My previous ten years at ICS were awesome, and I look forward to the challenge of working with the students as we work together to: "Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy." Looking forward to new challenges and for the opportunity to share some of my passion for music with each student. |
